1989

adding on to dad's points about the government exploiting technology to create a society ruled by fear, have you read "1989"??? very interesting book, especially given that it was written before even computers existed at a basic level. i think its written by George Orwell, the same guy who wrote "Animal Farm" (also a book ahead of its time)
